We believe that knowledge is power, and so we are committed to helping those who want to live cleaner, healthier lives but aren’t sure how to go about it. When it comes to sustainable fashion, we enjoy researching and showing you the things you need to be aware of as you shop for yourself and your family. Every supplier we work with is our partner, and it’s important that they meet high standards for the ethical production of organic and eco-friendly products. We love trying new products, learning about ingredients, and learning about the brands. With that in mind, here are three eco-fashion brands we are totally into.
Royal Apparel is an eco-friendly private label company that started in 1992 in Hauppaugge, Long Island. We love their social commitment to not only the environment, but also the people who manufacture their clothing.
One of our favorite things about Royal Apparel is their fabrics. Why?
Organic Cotton – They use no chemicals or pesticides in their organic cotton fabric, which means unsurpassed quality. It feels great to wear – from the inside out.
rPET – This amazing fabric is made from a foundation of recycled bottles, organic cotton and a touch of rayon. This loosely knit sustainable fabric offers extra contour and comfort. What is rPET? Learn more!
Bamboo and Hemp Viscose – Both bamboo and hemp are resilient crops that are great for the soil that grows them while conserving the water supply. Tough but not rough, these plants are transformed into a silky smooth viscose that’s easy to wear.
Low Impact Dyes – Royal Apparel’s dyes have a higher than average absorption rate. This means that less water is required in the rinse process and less dye runs off in the water. All that means the dyes have less impact on the environment.

We love that Midori is a company that gives back to the environment, instead of taking from it. Midori is the Japanese word for “green”. Since its inception, Midori has expanded from bed and bath linens into other product categories such as apparel and accessories. The Midori design is simple and elegant, which is something we appreciate. Even better…they are eco-certified.
Midori Styles really gets it. They understand the green value of organic bamboo. Not only are their bamboo clothes sustainable and renewable, they are also super comfortable, soft, breathable and even antibacterial.

They take an all-natural approach to organic cotton cultivation, free from pesticides and fertilizers – allowing nature to take its own course and develop self-sustaining ecosystems.
